My disorder. But my family doesn’t really know about the sensory integration either. They just think I’m weird and clumsy, but I like it that way. I’m the exact same person I was before I was diagnosed, and they all knew me in the before. I don’t want them to change the way they treat me because of it. My roommate, an RN, was the first to suggest that I had SID. Her kid has it, also as a secondary condition. But he got treatment for it as a child.
